You are invited…

As you may know, we’re already legally married, but we still want to celebrate with our loved ones!

Please join us on September 18th, 2026, for good food and good times. The ceremony and reception dinner will take place at the Holocene in SE Portland, followed by a night out on the town (for those who want to keep the party going). We love you so much, and we hope to see you there!

The week after our celebration, we’re embarking on our honeymoon to New Orleans. We plan to see some great music, taste some amazing food and drinks, and go on a few historic tours. Maybe we’ll even see a ghost! In any case, we don’t need any appliances or housewares as gifts; we’d much rather have help to fund our trip. Please check out our wedding registry, where you’ll be able to buy us dinner, drinks, tickets to a show, or help with any other travel expenses for New Orleans.

We really appreciate it <3

Love,
Aaron and Darby

Story Time!

Aaron and Darby met in early 2022 while working together at a local print shop. Over the course of about a year, they became friends, bonding over folding booklets, graphic design, and strange social situations with customers. Outside of work, they watched movies and attended concerts together. The stars aligned, and after a night of karaoke with friends at the Baby Ketten Club, they confessed their feelings, and later became partners.

Throughout the three years Darby and Aaron have been together, they have seen more live bands, like Pom Pom Squad, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Kamasi Washington. They have escaped from the city on various camping and hiking trips to the coast, Mt. Hood, and Elk Creek. They enjoy working on arts and crafts, playing board games and video games, and watching anime together.

They became engaged in February of 2025, and were married in an intimate ceremony at the St. Johns Jazz Festival that July. Today they live together in Beaverton with their two cats, Patricia and Faye.
